We’re Sponsors at the East Midlands Leadership Awards

Blueprint Interiors is delighted to announce that we’re one of the headline sponsors of the East Midlands Leadership awards this year, hosted by The Business Desk. There are 11 categories and we’ve chosen to sponsor the Transformational Leader category.

Commenting, our Founder & CEO Rob Day said, “Even before the pandemic, Blueprint Interiors was championing companies who were dedicated to transforming their workplace culture and has helped to design many agile offices that motivate and inspire. The legacy of COVID-19 has simply fast-tracked this cultural shift. In sponsoring the transformational leader category, we’re helping to ensure leaders who have driven the most inspirational company transformations are recognised for their strategic acumen as well as their ability to lead high performing teams through cultural change.”

In July, the Government announced that from 1 October 2020 business events and conferences would get the green light as long as the coronavirus infection rate is under control. We’re therefore very optimistic that the processes the venue and The Business Desk are proposing will ensure the event can go ahead successfully.

Rob added, “Personally I’m delighted that these awards are still going ahead as we need to get the economy back on track. The difficulties that we’ve all encountered this year means that most business owners have had to show immense character and resilience. It’s therefore only right that the regions’ most inspirational leaders are recognised for their hard work and contribution towards ensuring the future of their business and employees.”

The finalists in the Transformational Leadership category are:

David Essam, Frontline Recruitment

Amanda Fletcher, The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club

Richard Sutton, NG Chartered Surveyors

Reshma Sheikh, Octavian Security

Glynis Wright, Glynis Wright & Co

Rob concluded, “As a business we firmly believe in the benefits of technology and its ability to help people collaborate. However, we also know that it will never be a substitute for face to face contact because psychologically as humans we need these interactions. Networking events and business award ceremonies are a vital aspect of being able to develop strong relationships with strategic partners and winning new business. Blueprint Interiors is delighted to be a sponsor and we wish all the finalists the very best of luck.”

The awards are scheduled to take place on Thursday 5 November from 12 noon until 3pm at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. The guest speaker is Sean Jarvis, the new CEO of Leicestershire County Cricket Club. Tickets cost £85 per person or £800 for a table of ten and are available to buy online here.
