Blueprint Hosts Network4Business at WorkLife Central

Posted in:

On Friday 2 March, Blueprint Interiors were pleased to host a breakfast meeting of Network4Business at WorkLife Central: our new Ashby offices. Despite snow on the ground and dire weather warnings, twenty N4B members and guests took part in the visit.

Network4Business is a business networking group that normally meets every Friday morning at the Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth. It is unusual for the group to meet elsewhere, but Robert Day and Steve Black, our Managing Director and Non-Exec Director respectively, have been members since the group was founded in 2002, when Blueprint itself was a start-up business. Steve still attends N4B weekly meetings, and the group has been closely following the progress of Blueprint’s move of premises since the initial planning stages early last year.

On a rota basis, at every N4B meeting one member has the opportunity to present their business to the group in a 10 minute spotlight. Blueprint were keen to invite N4B members to see the new offices for themselves and we were able to use our spotlight presentation to highlight our business process – Define, Design, Plan and Fit Out – using our own premises move as a case study. The presentation took the form of a tour of the building, giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the variety of our collaboration areas.

Network4Business members were impressed with the way WorkLife Central enables us to show how innovations in workspace design, furniture products and technology can combine with expertly designed acoustics and lighting to create an exciting, enjoyable and effective working environment.
