Chamber Awards Sponsorship Acknowledges Education Interior Fit-Out Expertise

Posted in:

So here we are again. The exciting time of year when the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce announces that their business awards are open for entries. The awards are split into the three regions covered by the East Midlands Chamber; Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire

For the second consecutive year, we’re extremely proud to be sponsoring the Education and Business Partnership category in the Leicestershire Chamber awards. The award recognises schools, colleges and further education providers that engage effectively with business.

We’re sponsoring this particular category having worked with some pretty inspirational education providers in our time. We’ve seen first-hand how the experiences of students can be positively transformed through these partnerships, so the opportunity to support an award celebrating this was just too good to miss.

You can find out more about our reasons for sponsoring the award by taking a look at our projects with these fantastic education providers:

Thinking of entering the East Midlands Chamber Awards?

If you’re thinking of entering the Chamber Awards, we encourage you to go for it! But before you do, have a read of our blog on our top tips for writing a successful award entry. It’s worth a read as we’ve been involved with the Chamber for some time now so have some great insights for you.

To give you a bit more information about the awards themselves… They’re held every year, bringing together businesses from across the East Midlands region to celebrate and gain recognition for their success. The winners of selected award categories also have the chance to go onto the regional and national British Chambers of Commerce – a great opportunity to have your work recognised even further afield.

Entrants to the Education and Business Partnership Award need to demonstrate how they work in partnership with local businesses and how they help pupils develop crucial employability skills valued by employers.

The judges will be looking for:

  • Importance and promotion of engagement with business and soft skills
  • Your innovative approach to how employability and soft skills are incorporated into learning/training
  • Achievements and challenges overcome

You can get your entry started by visiting the East Midlands Chamber website now.

Good luck if you are entering, and we hope to see you on awards night!
