We’ve got some very exciting announcements to make as we head into 2019 fully focused on growing our presence across the Midlands.
We’ve hired a new Business Development Manager for the West Midlands, Dan Zastawny, as well as appointing external agencies to work with us on our marketing strategy, PR, online content and telemarketing.
Dan is Ex Founder and Director of Impact Hub Birmingham, and joins us having spent the last five years managing a 6000 sq. ft collaborative work and events space. His role involved attracting a rich community of thinkers, doers, makers, movers and shakers from different sectors to come together and have a place to work, to collaborate, dream, host events and share ideas.
Dan lives in Kings Heath and enjoys the science and art of beer (in other words brewing and tasting!) in his spare time. He’s also a fan of playing squash, running and dog walking, not forgetting watching American football and rugby. He’s currently a governor of BMET college, has been on the management committee of Kids Adventure for several years, and is a former trustee of Lench's Trust. So he certainly has a lot to talk about!
We asked Dan why he decided to join us, and he said, "I was strongly attracted to the story of Blueprint, the quality of their people and the work they deliver, and the inherent values that drive their designs. Part of the work at Impact Hub Birmingham was overseeing the growth and development of a collaborative workspace and engaged network, and I hope to bring these experiences in to the role."
Andrew, our Head of Business Developments said, "We are delighted that such a well-connected and influential figurehead has joined the company. Dan will be on the ground developing our presence in the West Midlands and ensuring we are best placed to win commercial office fit-out or refurbishment projects. We have recently joined a number of networking groups we have previously not attended in order to help Dan further expand his network."
As well as appointing Dan we’ve bolstered our marketing team with a number of external appointments. Vida Creative has been placed in charge of online marketing, SEO and content. J&L VA has been appointed in a telesales role, and Simple Marketing Consultancy has been appointed to carry out an outsourced Marketing/PR manager role to ensure we’ve got a cohesive strategy and all of our tactical activities are co-ordinated to help increase our profile.
Rob, our Founder and Chairman added, "By appointing Dan and a team of marketing specialists our ambition for 2019 is to continue to grow our presence across the Midlands through developing strategic partnerships and identifying new opportunities for workplace consultancy, design and fit out projects."
