I am responsible for the book-keeping on a day to day basis. This includes both Sales and Purchase Ledger, from invoice through to payments and end of month procedures on Sage.
I also look after the Sub-Contractors CIS accounts, and VAT submissions etc. I also continue to assist with the administration of the projects, including raising all purchase orders.
What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
Having left college with a Secretarial Diploma, I went into a Shorthand Typist role, and then moved into Accounts, which is where I have remained over the years. Immediately before Blueprint, I worked for another interior refurbishment company for 8 years, as their Office Manager.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Spending time in our camper van, at the coast, is always a favourite pastime, but I do like to crochet, play badminton, and am a member of a comping site. Having recently become a grandparent twice over, that also takes a priority now.Blueprint Team
