Working with Blueprint has proved to be successful on a number of levels; they quickly understood our requirements to create a fresh, modern and efficient workplace – they produced imaginative ideas matched to great products and, by being keenly competitive on price, they have delivered really outstanding value.
This has been a complex and challenging project. Blueprint Interiors dealt with every aspect in a thoroughly confident and professional manner and were a particular pleasure to deal with because of their refreshing enthusiasm. We are delighted that we picked such a dedicated service-led partner to help ensure the success of the project.

step 1: brief
- Create a home for British Swimming, the Amateur Swimming Association and the Institute of Swimming and for them to be all under one roof, instead of being on 7 separate sites
- Provide a cost-effective furniture solution
- Represent their brand efficiently, in a fresh and inspiring way
- Storage was an important pre-requisite, it was necessary for it to be easily accessible and to encourage a clear-desk policy in the workspace
step 2: design
- We worked closely to develop a bespoke desking solution, tailored to their exact needs. Incorporating top boxes and under desk storage maximised the desk workspace
- Break out space was included throughout to facilitate the varying range of ways of working and to ultimately encourage effective and productive collaboration and communication.
- Organisation and layout was important in such a large office. The need to landscape the space in order to create a natural flow and a sense of space was essential, focussing on details such as the height and location of storage helped with this
- Worked with developer to incorporate the brand in the first instance instead of merely replacing elements
- 3D visuals to help client to visualise the final space
- Creation of a bespoke library design
step 3: implementation
- A full fit-out package was provided for ASA, which included the following:
- Prior to installation pilot schemes of furniture was offered to test the furniture
- Furniture installation, with all necessary Health and Safety standards in place
- Procurement and delivery management
- Data, communications and electrical alterations in particular the installation of plasma screens and the relocation of floor boxes
- General and feature decoration, decorative carpet inlay designs
- Graphics, signage and artwork to represent the brand throughout
