PROJECT PROFILE:
Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire
Size:4800 sq ft, 30 staff
Scope:Feasibility studies, space planning and design, full fit out package
Time scale: April ’09, 5 weeks on site, all work completed out of hours with staff in situ

step 1: brief

  • feasibility study of 3 different properties carried out over period of 1 year; new build option, restoration of edwardian rectory, and refurbishment and extension of current leased accommodation. The latter proved the best option.
  • objectives included a need to reflect Key Parker's new identity within the interior, strengthen staff relations, and to control the budget to ensure the majority spend was on the client items rather than enhancing the landlord's fit out

step 2: design

  • space planning based on work studies
  • brand interpretation for full design scheme and specification of interior finishes
  • encouraged integration between departments by opening up the space
  • series of 10 wall coverings used to define and individualise spaces
  • studio feel bought to the office spaces with classic design pieces and strong graphic influence

step 3: implementation

  • full fit out service including:
  • general contracting, kitchen and WC fit out, joinery
  • carpeting and specialist flooring
  • data, communications and electrical alterations, feature lighting
  • general and feature decoration
  • window dressing, furniture installation, artwork, vinyls and graphics, audio visual
