This years Great North Run sees Blueprints very own athlete, Contracts Manager John Jardine, take to the streets of Newcastle and Gateshead in September.

The Great North Run will feature over 50,000 runners, many of whom take part for charity. This year John is running for The Prostate Cancer Charity, who looked after his grandfather who sadly passed away earlier this year.

John initially hoped to complete the course in under two hours, but after a good start to training has already altered his finishing target to one hour and forty-five minutes.
