OUR STORY

From our humble beginnings to projects for global brands such as Cadbury and Giant Bicycles, Blueprint has always strived to deliver a very personal service. The story of our dedication to service begins with our Managing Director, Rob Day, in 2001.

Starting out: Blueprint’s winning formula

In the early days Rob was Blueprint – armed only with a laptop, a car and a mobile. With two decades’ experience of managing projects in commercial design and fit out, Rob founded a company that could take care of office refurbishment from start to finish.

By bringing in the right people – suppliers offering high quality at great value, and skilled contractors – Rob was able to deliver redesigned work spaces that met client’s budgets and exceeded their expectations. Rob’s personable, co-operative style paved the way for the client-focused team you’ll find at Blueprint today.

Beyond refurbishment – Blueprint today

Since then, our team has grown to include Creative Director Chloe Vickers, a dedicated design team, and project managers. With this in-house expertise, we now provide an exceptional, design-led service to blue chip companies like Britvic, and national-level organisations such as British Swimming. Not only can we take care of every aspect of your office redesign and fit out, we go beyond refurbishment – tailoring every feature of your office to suit the way you work.

Small team, huge opportunity

After three years of business, with Rachel Biddles (now Operations Director) on board, Blueprint’s team of two landed a big opportunity. Impressed by our commitment to service, the utility company E.on entrusted us with the task of fitting out its Sherwood Park Offices. We installed 1200 workstations, on time and on budget, maintaining the highest professional standards.

Rob Day Managing Director

Throughout his three and a half decades in interior design and fit out, Rob’s commitment to exceptional personal service has never wavered. He now spends much of his time building relationships with clients and suppliers, and growing the Blueprint team.

Rachel Biddles Operations Director

Rachel is a key player in the Manage and Fit Out stages of your project, where she coordinates Blueprint teams alongside our sub-contractor partners to ensure everything runs like clockwork.

Chloe Vickers Creative Director

You’ll get to know Chloe well in the Define and Design stages of your project, where she’ll help identify your work space issues and then coordinate our design and contracts teams to shape an effective solution.

Steve Black Non-Executive Director

Steve has a wealth of experience in the finance industry, including 30 years at Barclays which saw him progress to Area Director. His strategic expertise plays a critical role in helping to shape Blueprint’s future.

Kim Bloor Design Manager

Kim is able to come up with brilliant practical design solutions that really make the most of your space. She is responsible for the design team and keeping up to speed with industry trends, so they can bring you the benefit of the latest products, furnishing and finishes.

Rebecca Beadle Designer

Rebecca has been working in the office design and fit out world for 6 years, so has an extensive knowledge of solving space issues whilst creating the visual impact you’re after. This strong design base, coupled with her understanding of how to keep budgets and timelines on target, ensures the projects are a success.

John Jardine Senior Contracts Manager

John manages the contracts team to achieve an excellent finish, while also ensuring that your experience of the fit out is smooth and enjoyable. John's industry experience has put him in an excellent position to manage our trusted team of subcontractors.

Andy Sawyer Contracts Manager

Andy is responsible for organising contractors, ordering materials and setting up your site ready for fit out. Andy has vast experience in the commercial fit out industry, having worked as both a contracts manager and project manager on projects for leading retailers.

Hannah Floyd Head of Business Development

Hannah is responsible for developing new business opportunities and building client relationships. Hannah will be one of the first people you meet and looks forward to learning about your work, culture and aims, and how we can best help you.

Piotr Motyka Marketing Manager

Piotr runs our marketing campaigns and is responsible for developing digital content – including everything you see on this website. Other key aspects of his role are creating an effective marketing strategy and defining and strengthening the Blueprint brand.

Pam Johnson Accounts/Projects Administrator

Pam is responsible for all company financial matters. She works on the admin for the financial side of your project whilst also working with in-house teams and sub-contractors to process orders and arrange deliveries to site.

Gemma Ryder Projects Administrator

Behind the scenes, Gemma puts her sharp organisational skills to work on your project’s logistics – helping to make sure that the right people and equipment are in the right place at the right time.

Hannah Day Project Support

Hannah lends admin support to our teams wherever it’s needed most. Much of her work is currently focused on helping the contracts team organise the set-up of your site, and putting together documents such as your Operations and Maintenance manual.
